Kendra Butt

I’ve been teaching Zumba since Aug. 2007. I was never the type of person who could stick with a workout until I walked into a Zumba class. I danced for 10 years when I was younger so Zumba was an excellent match for me. I took classes for a year before I decided to become an instructor. LivRite was my first job as a Zumba Instructor in Sept. of 2007. I love teaching in such a friendly environment. It is truly a blessing. I am certified to teach Zumba, Zumba Toning, Zumba Gold, Zumba Kids Jr., & Zumba Kids. I currently teach the Zumba Classes on MWF at 8:30 AM, Tues/Thurs at 5:30 PM, and Sat at 9:45 AM. I would love to have you in class! No experience is necessary.

Christine “Chris” Taylor

Hi. I am Christine (Chris) Taylor and I have been teaching the Arthritis Aquatic class for 15 years.”I teach the Joint effort water class on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday @ 10:45 AM.  I have a B.S. from St. Joseph’s College, M.A.  from Butler University, USWFA, and I am water fitness certified through the Arthritis Foundation.rtifications include Arthritis Aquatic Instructor and National Water Fitness Instructors. Prior to LivRite, I was the Vice President of Marketing and Programs for the Arthritis Foundation, Indiana Chapter. I also have arthritis, and I believe it has helped tremendously to give me insight, empathy and understanding to our members who have taken this class.   I love the fact members will come to class, maybe not feeling too well, and by the end of class, they tell me how much better they feel-because of the exercises.  It is a great feeling to know that even in a small way, I am helping someone to have better day.  Come join us in class!

Deborah K. Brown

I have always had a love for fitness and wellness.   Because of this, I was asked to chair the wellness program where I work. I came up with the theme and logo, WOW, which stands for Working on Wellness. I implemented many wellness programs and became the voice of wellness during my leadership of this program.   I love working out (weights as well as cardio) and have run eight half marathons and competed and placed 5th in the 2012 NPC Figure competition at the age of 48.  I have been a member of LivRite for almost 10 years.   It was during this time that I took my first Zumba class. I fell in love with Zumba and decided to obtain a Zumba certification. I obtained my first Zumba certication in March of 2011 and it did not stop there. I obtained 3 additional Zumba certifications for a total of 4 (Zumba Basic 1 and 2, Zumba Sentao, and Zumba Toning). Feel free to go to http://deborahkbrown.zumba.com/ to see my Zumba profile. I later saw an amazing Pound work out where drum sticks were being used and was so intrigued with it that I decided to become certified in Pound. I obtained my Pound certification March of 2015. Pound is a full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and Isometric poses into a 30, 45 or 60 minute series. Cindy Kicinski

Cindy Kicinski has been teaching group fitness classes at LivRite since August 2013.  She is a Licensed Zumba Instructor, licensed in 2012 and is also licensed to teach Zumba Step and Zumba Toning. She is an AAFA Certified Group Fitness Instructor.  Cindy teaches Zumba at LivRite on Fridays at 6:30 PM.  Cindy is a Certified Refit Instructor and teaches, Ignition – a Christian Hip-Hop class at LivRite, Sundays at 2:00 PM.  As a gift to herself for losing 50 pounds through a healthy diet and exercise, Cindy registered for the Zumba Instructor training.  She began teaching Zumba shortly after that.  Her favorite part about teaching Zumba, is seeing the success of others and that for each student success looks different.  For some students she teaches – it is the commitment to come to every class, or when they get a certain Zumba move and for others it is the confidence they gain in and out of the gym.  Cindy loves to inspire and motivate others in their fitness journey, but most of all loves how her students inspire her and others in the class.  She enjoys the community aspect of Zumba within her classes. Cindy has a passion for music and dancing and loves the outdoors, photography and cooking.

Tanya Keller

Hello, my name is Tanya Keller. I started here at Livrite back in 1997, with a certification in group fitness. I started at the front desk and teaching 3 classes. (I was the original instructor of the Better Bones classes.) I got certified and started teaching water aerobics the next year. I am also certified as a personal trainer. I love working with all age groups. Water aerobics class are the only classes I teach regularly now. Occasionally you will find me upstairs subbing a class but most of the time you can find me in the pool. I teach most of the morning class Monday through Friday. Any of those day you can find me in the pool 8:30 -10:30 AM.  I teach the 8:30 AM M-W-F Aqua power class, the 9:30 AM M-W-F Aqua Yoga class,  the 8:30 AM T-TH HI/LO aqua aerobics class, and the 9:30 AM T-Th Aqua Interval class. I have a wonderful husband (who’s eyes glaze over when I start talking fitness) and a great 14 year old daughter (who has perfected the teenage eye roll and grew up here at Livrite). I hope to see you in one of my classes soon.

Sonja Schaeckenbach

I am an occupational therapist and base my exercise routine on appropriate body mechanics, muscle groups, and cardiovascular activity.  I have been teaching water aerobics since 1998. I currently teach the Aqua Power class on Wednesday at 6:00 PM.  I have taught arthritis classes and I have experience teaching swim lessons for adults and children.  I teach stroke training, training for competitive swimming, and water safety.

Charita Harris 

My name is Charita Harris. I am an Aquatics aerobic Instructor at LivRite Fitness and I have been teaching here since 2008. I enjoy working with people and making new friends. When I came to LivRite I was hesitant of working out because of my weight, but the instructor that I met here encouraged me to workout and made it fun and exciting, so much so that I looked forward to coming everyday. She showed me how water aerobics can help you to lose weight. I have lost a tremendous amount of weight and I am currently still losing. I have gone from a dress size of 36 plus to a 22. After a year and a half of being a participant, I decided to become an Instructor. I am a certified Aqua aerobics water fitness Instructor. I am licensed through the USWFA (United States Water Fitness Association) I am also certified in first aid, CPR , and AED training ( Automated External Defibrillator ) . I love teaching here at LivRite because everyone here makes you feel welcome and like your Family. LivRite has truly been a blessing in my life by opening doors for me in my personal and professional life. I have really become healthier and more knowledgeable about health since coming here. I currently teach Aqua Power classes on Monday and Thursday at 6pm and Sat at 8:30 AM. I also teach an Aqua Strong class on Tuesday at 6:00 PM.
